Hi Edward,
Thank you for sending me the feedback for Stikki the Squirrel.
I would be delighted if you would post the comments and feedback from the young readers who have read Stikki. I would be very happy if you would post the comments on Goodreads and on my BookBub book page.
And of course, please thank all the children involved in the judging process. Their comments are lovely and mean a lot to me. After all, writing about what you love and then to know you have succeeded in entertaining and delighting your target audience is wonderful and gratifying to hear.
Thank you all so much.
Best wishes,
Jane.
Hey Edward,
Hope you are doing well! Been super excited to see the feedback. I haven't been able to stop smiling after seeing it. I'm glad that everyone has been liking the book. In all honesty I didn't expect to be a finalist, being my first published work, so I'm happy I got there and now I'm gonna improve based on the feedback I got.
I read that we needed to confirm so you guys could post the comments, review and star ratings in Goodreads and Bookhub if possible. So I hope I'm not making a fool of myself with the rambling, but yes I would love if you guys could post them.
Anyways, I'm very grateful to you and the Wishing Shelf team, and readers. It's been amazing.
Hello Edward,
We know you're busy with award activities, but we wanted to send you a personal note. Our heads continue to spin in disbelief. The incredible win for THE BIRD CAPER is bringing us tremendous joy at a time when our country is bombarded with chaos and negativity.
We tell our family, friends, and anyone who will listen about the wonderful collaborative relationship we've formed with talented authors in the UK and how you are important members of our writing community. We truly can't imagine writing a book without you.
We were delighted to be a finalist and didn't expect more. So much that we didn't check the winning results until late in the day. Victoria was alone in the house when she found out the news and sat in front of the computer, just staring in disbelief. Then the flood gates opened, and the ugly crying began. She called Thorir, but he didn't answer. She called her daughter, but she didn't answer. Then she took off running around the house! Thorir walked into a crazy explosion!
This Saturday we are presenting a session at the Delaware Festival of Words along with a book signing. We can't wait to share the news about this fabulous win, it's certainly something to crow about!!!
Thank you for your endless hours of support to writers and authors and seeking out new opportunities and tools.
Take care,
Victoria & Thorir
'Thanks so much for the feedback! I've been looking forward to seeing how it would be formatted and packaged, and I'm quite thrilled with the outcome. In terms of feedback that I've ordered over the last year, this is easily the most useful. Including the basic demographics of the comments at the end is especially welcome, as this book is now under contract with two media companies who both ask me for demographic insights on a regular basis.
Long story short, I'll definitely be entering my future books. Pound for pound, The Wishing Shelf is the best — and most honest and transparent — deal I've seen in the rewards realm.
Please post what you can on Goodreads or anywhere else you're able! Thanks.'
Thank you for sending the feedback on my book, Natalie and the Nazi Soldiers. The feature of receiving feedback from the readers was particularly appealing to me about your contest. This is so valuable!
Yes, please post your blurb/feedback on Goodreads for my book.
Keep up the good work! You created an amazing contest! Thank you!
