It's so important to have a catchy review on the front and/or back cover of your 'soon to be published' or 'recently published' book. And, of course, on your Amazon Book Page under Editorial Reviews.

The One Week Writing Workshop: 7 Days to Spark, Boost or Revive Your Novel
By Karin Adams
'A wonderfully accessible, far ranging book, helping authors in all aspects of the writing process. Highly recommended!' The Wishing Shelf
REVIEW
I must say, I very much enjoyed this insightful book on 'writing' from the pen of Karin Adams. Being a writer myself, I'm always on the lookout for helpful tips on how to improve my art. But I also don't want to (nor do I have time to) spend endless hours ploughing through big texts. I want short, sharp, helpful advice – and that's what is offered here.
There were a number of elements to this book I particularly enjoyed. Firstly, when I'm planning a book, I'm a big 'walker'. When I was writing a YA novel, The Skeleton Clock, I spent hours wandering by a river working out what was going to happen, to who, and when. So I was delighted to see there's a short chapter on The Writer's Walk. As soon as I spotted this chapter, I knew Karin Adams knew her stuff! Secondly, the book is so very accessible – in terms of writing style and layout. It's the sort of book you can read from cover to cover or simply jump in with a little help from the Contents page. So, if you need help on, say, character development, then check out Visit Your Character's Bedroom on page 87. And, thirdly, it's surprisingly comprehensive, covering many elements of the writing process, from planning to writing, from editing to ways of getting feedback.
So, if you happen to be a writer who's 'new to the game' or an experienced author who needs a little inspiration, check out The One Week Writing Workshop. I think most writers will find it educational, highly accessible, and extremely helpful. All in all, a bit of a gem!
