THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to read through so many wonderful books.
I cannot tell you how thrilled my illustrator and I am to have the honor of being among this incredible list of authors.
We love what you all do, with the donations and the fact that you have such a variety of judges including kids and teens. That is why you are my favourite yearly competition... you have real folks of all ages and walks of life giving their valuable two cents.
It's cliché to say but this has far exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much for organising this competition and getting my book out there to so many people, Edward. I loved reading the reviews and being a part of The Wishing Shelf Awards. I would also love for those reviews to be posted on the Goodreads page too. They were all so kind and definitely triggered some emotions.
Thanks again for all that you do.
The readers' comments are thoughtful and critiqued with respect, but most importantly, they all "got" the story. I'm delighted with the WS service provided. Their comments will absolutely make my next MG/YA better. If you get a chance, please let them know.
As you stated, go ahead and publish the reviews wherever. Keep up all the excellent work.
Thank you for sending this feedback on Connecting Threads: Five Siblings Lost and Found. It was very moving to read the readers' comments about the book. These comments mean so much to me. It's important to know that the story carries some strength and a sense of hope for the readers who reviewed it. Very thoughtful and touching comments. Much gratitude to everyone! And I'm glad to know the cover needs some work.
Thank you so much for sending this feedback!! This was extremely helpful and filled with lots of great insights/reflections. Firstly, to have 15 readers for the book was something kind of unheard of. And to get 7 written reviews out of that 15 is incredibly, incredibly useful. We would love it if you guys could post these reviews for Consciousness in a Nutshell to Goodreads.
Really happy we submitted to TWSA. You're running a good thing here. I'll be sure to tell anyone who asks that this is an award competition worth submitting for.
